Amandeep Singh Malhotra is a skilled full stack web developer with over 4 years of industry experience in developing apps on Angular/Java Spring/MaruaDB stack. He also has experience in developing RPA apps on Blue Prism. Currently, he works as a Web Developer at KIIT University, where he is responsible for back-end web development for KIITFEST,2016 - the annual techno-cultural fest of KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, with comprehensive database management in MySQL. Before joining KIIT University, Amandeep worked as a Robotics Engineer at Barclays, where he was involved in end-to-end process automation of existing redundant back-office processes using Blue Prism. His role included creating design for robust and scalable solutions for solving business problems, documenting design into Solution Design Document, writing readable and maintainable code using best practices recommended by Blue Prism, conducting multiple proof of concepts for checking tech feasibility of automation of an application, taking ownership of leading vendor partners as resources for project development, code review of project development by peers, and debugging existing live projects developed by fellow developers for fixing production issues. He was also involved in requirement gathering sessions for deeper understanding of the automation solution. Amandeep started his career as a Trainee at Macrologic Solutions, where he received hands-on experience in working on a Single Board Computer called Raspberry Pi. He learned basic tasks like installing an Operating System (Raspbian) on Raspberry Pi and logging into Raspberry Pi by real console and virtual console methods (SSH and VNC). He also programmed the Raspberry pi to make LEDs blink with the click of a button. Amandeep holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from KIIT University. He is proficient in Software Engineering, Web development, Spring, Java, Docker, and AngularJS.
